Mark Chatterton has been the managing director at Morplan for nearly 9 years now. Mark has over 35 years of experience in the industry, working for big names such as PC World, PC City, Dixons, Sony, Philips and Bosch Siemens.
Mark began his career as a Graduate Trainee in Marketing with British Gas, from there he progressed into setting up stand-alone retail Kitchen business on behalf of the company. The next steps in his career involved working as a product manager for Bosch, introducing the first stainless steel oven to the UK, followed by Philips Consumer Electronics, where he introduced the first VCR/TV combi to the UK market and the first jelly semi-clear audio products.
Mark’s career then progresses into the retail sector, becoming the Marketing Director for PC World in the UK, this role then took him to France, where he opened 7 PC city stores. After this, he returned to the UK as the Head of International Business Development for PC World business.
Finally, he joined Sony as their Head of Commercial Engineering for Europe before leaving there to join Morplan.
