Masking Tape
It may be called 'masking tape', yet its painting and decorating role is just one of this versatile product's many uses. Made from soft cream-coloured crepe paper, it's unaffected by water, solvents and even stands high temperatures up to 60¬°, while its rubber adhesive sticks firmly to all sorts of surfaces - yet leaves no mark or residue after removal. Also, since it's so easily hand-tearable and easy to write on, it's ideal for labelling, keeping all sorts of things temporarily in place, hobbies and handcrafts, sealing and wrapping - and even for gathering fabrics, flowers etc into bunches!.
